With so many great opportunities for amazing kiteboarding on Earth, La Ventana continues to surprise and delight. With an early season taking off this year, we are seeing dozens of kites dot the horizon. Veterans are performing amazing stunts, beginners are getting lessons, and people on-shore are watching in awe at this mesmerizing sport.

Is there gear storage nearby? It doesn’t sound like it matters now, but being able to store your gear safely and securely right on the beach after your session is a game-changer. Not to mention the value of quickly grabbing it right when the wind kicks in to crush an amazing day right when it presents itself.
Do you have a place to stay? Some people have different goals when coming to La Ventana. Where a tent and a stove is plenty for a great kite season, for others, the amenities of an air-conditioned casita, a soft bed, and housekeeping at a fair rate are more important.
The food situation. Are you planning on cooking your own meals, or do you love going out to eat? In our experience, our customers enjoy the Best of Baja (that’s us) for breakfast and lunch, but skip dinner with us to head out on the town and check out local food carts. We definitely recommend this method.
Diversity of offerings: a good location should have access to the latest gear, like kiteboarding, winging, and foiling. These are fast growing sports with rabid followings. We make sure to keep this equipment on hand with our kite instructors, ProKite South Padre, offering the best lessons, launch and land support, ATV and waverunner support available.
