Taking Group Eco Tourism to the Next Level with Aquarium of the Bay

Last week we had the distinct pleasure of hosting the Aquarium of the Bay on a Baja Eco-adventure tour in our quiet little fishing town, La Ventana. Over the years, we have honed our skills hosting groups, such as National Geographic, Putney Student Travel, Sea Camp San Diego, and Berkeley Student Group, to name a few.

This time, we took a group of ocean-aficionados out to snorkel, whale watch, and scuba dive in our back yard, or as Jacques Cousteau termed it, the Aquarium of the World.

Over the week, our guests saw some incredible sea life in the Sea of Cortez, and the other side of Baja in Magdalena Bay. Our outpost in Mag Bay is one of the few on the island, as is perfect for whale watching, and nature talks. Not to mention the community work with local students and tree planting.

Our resort is fortuitously positioned here in Baja California Sur, Mexico to provide the ultimate experience for marine biology afficianados by taking the traditional aquarium experience and extrapolating it across the entire region we are lucky to live in.

From one of our Aquarium of the Bay guests:

Come to a place that feels better than home! I had the pleasure of staying here last week with a small group that I just met. The staff were extraordinarily friendly and accommodating. There were numerous activities offered from kite boarding, standup paddleboard, scuba diving, swimming with whale sharks, hiking, fishing, cooking classes, [and] community projects
