The Resort
You'll know you've reached Palapas Ventana when you see the palapa roofs of our quaint casitas, overlooking the Sea of Cortez and Cerralvo Island. Each casita is a stand-alone unit and has a porch with rocking chairs and hammock. Every casita has a fantastic view. Please see the videos below for a tour of our traditional casitas. If you would like to book today, please contact us and we can curate the perfect trip for you.
Specialty Casita: up to 4 people, private bathroom with sink and shower.
Regular Casita: up to 2 people, with shared bathroom facilities just steps from your casita.
During the winter season (November-March) breakfast and lunch are included and selected every day by our Chef. During the summer season (April-October) all meals are included in your room price. If you would like other options our restaurant has a delicious set menu.

for hotel guests
El Anzuelo was built in the same style as our casitas. It sets on the east tip of our property and overlooks Cerralvo Island, the Sea of Cortez. We offer the finest Mexican/American cuisine. We serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner to our guests and are open to the public 7 days a week. Enjoy fresh squeezed orange juice or a coffee from our espresso bar all day or cool down with a variety of cold beers, wine or a variety of flavored margaritas.
The pool is open daily from 10 am – 9 pm for hotel guests. We operate the jacuzzi after 3 pm. Please ask in the restaurant for assistance.
Snorkeling gear, bikes, and kayaks are free for all hotel guests.
We have beach support to help you launch your kite and land it safely and comfortably. One daily downwinder is included, as well as on the water kite storage for our guests.
As a hotel guests, we offer you fishing services like filleting, ziplock service, secure gear storage and freezer storge. Vacuum packing is available for $2 USD per bag.
